"Being Home"

Talked with my grandson and daughter last night on skype. Unfortunately, my granddaughter was very tired, cranky and weepy and ended up taking a nap just minutes after I started talking to my grandson. So, didn't get a nice photo of her, or even really "talk" to her.

It was good to see them, hear their voices, hear about adventures last weekend. They went to Mesa Verde National Park, the Four Corners and had various adventures along the way. A woman in a store somewhere asked if she could buy this sword for my grandson. Papa said yes, so she bought it, gave it to him, and left. Hmmm. Interesting. He loves it. Obviously. First thing he showed me!

How I miss them! Thanking God for skype this morning.

I Love Skype

Kara and I talked on Skype last night. She rang me and when I answered, she said, "Someone here wants to talk with you." She put on her video and I put on mine. Eithnee started jabbering away and waving at the computer (me).

Then Kara told me that every time she sits down to work on the computer - doing bills, reading, surfing the net, or getting on Skype - Eithnee crawls over, demands to be picked up and then starts waving at the computer, saying "Hi! Hi!" over and over again. :-) :-) I miss my little Whirly Girly!
